1. Tales of Beedle the Bard knocked Stephenie Meyer out of the #1 bestseller spot. Tales is aimed for younger kids (I'd say from 10-15) and yet appeals to almost all ages. The Twilight series is aimed for preteen and young teenage girls (I'd say 12-16) and those are really the only people those books appeal too. Personally I disliked the books and I find it hard to find others in my age group who enjoy them as well.

I am sick and tired of hearing about this Harry Potter versus Twilight thing. The books and authors have nothing in common, except that they are well known and quite popular amongst many people. However even then it is stupid to compare the two. I first saw this comparison when they set up a section in our school library with a board that said “If you love Stephenie Meyer, you’ll love…” and had a bunch of retarded vampire books underneath (All retarded but with the exception of Vampirates. They’re vampire pirates. How much more awesome can you get?). There was a newspaper clip
